Dropoff/Pickup Information
Morning Drop Off
Nash is located in a busy section of Weymouth, and our population has grown. Due to this, drop off and pick up require lots of patience and time. Please know that we will do our best to get you out as fast as we can, but student safety is number one.
Our driveway is closed until 8:50 a.m.
Please do not arrive on the school campus until 8:50 a.m or later. We do not have anyone blocking the driveway like other elementary schools do. We just hope that you respect that time.
Cars line up in a single line and pull all the way up to the front of the school. We would love all students to get out of the passenger side of the car, but understand that car seats/issues may prevent this. This is why we do not pass cars and stay in single file. Children will be coming out of both sides of the car.
If you would like to get out of the car, put your child's backpack on or walk them to the door, we ask you to follow the line, but then park in the side parking lot near the front of the building. This will allow you to have as much time as you need without holding up traffic.
For those who are pulling up and dropping off your student, we will have staff lined up to help the drop off. Our K and some grade 1 students may need extra support the first few months.
Afternoon Pick Up
Grade K, 1, and 5: Pick up at the parking lot by the playground
Grades 2, 3, and 4: Pick up at the parking lot by the side door and garden.
Please be patient as we have many students trying to get home safely. Line cars up and wait for the ok to drive away.
As always, we request that no one park at the Stetson Building and risk being towed.
Please also drive slowly and be considerate of our neighbors.
